If you "photoshop" art into an emptied gallery space, it's experienced and viewed by an online viewer as real documentation of a real art experience. They imagine the artwork hanging in the Exhibition Space as something that was given worth, value, and institutional validation (or, enough to be hung by a team in a well-lit space).
But why bother creating more than documentation of digital images or objects? The implied art object never delivers on the promises of its potential, but also doesn’t need to.
